During the current global health crisis, it is critical that all Oklahomans have access to adequate and affordable internet services. Schools throughout the state will transition to online course work to complete the academic year. OneNet recognizes that schools and communities will have challenges with implementing continuous learning through the COVID-19 pandemic. Ensuring students and families have access to internet connectivity is vital.
In order to address these issues, the Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai has requested that telecommunications and internet service providers throughout the country sign the Keep Americans Connected Pledge. Telecommunications providers throughout the state of Oklahoma are stepping up to commit to the pledge and offer additional resources to their communities, from discounted internet service plans for families to hotspots.
OneNet has created a resource page on our website to share information on how schools and students can access the services and devices needed during this time.
