Bethany Public Schools

Monday, August 19th - It was beautiful day to be a Bethany Broncho as we came together to honor the memory of our dear friend, Sofia, with the dedication of our all-abilities playground. This project holds a special place in our hearts, as our school shares a unique and meaningful relationship with the children from Bethany Children's Health Center who join our students to learn and grow together. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Ashley Terenus and Platinum Playgrounds, our generous donors—AAA Insurance, CEC Civil Servants, The Donna Nigh Foundation, Quail Creek Bank, Crossings Church, Dr. J.D. & Karen Crooks, Isaiah & Christina Terneus, and Scott Brown with SYNlawn Turf—and our caring community, Sophia's dream of an inclusive playground has become a reality. Her vision will continue to bring joy to all children for years to come.
