The Young Eagles flights offer free opportunities for students ages 8-17 around Oklahoma at least once per month in our area. Middle school students are encouraged to participate in your aviation programs.
The next nearest event in November is still open for registration : Nov 2nd in Haskell, Oklahoma
Space is limited, so contact Coach Allen in Room S9 if you would like to register.

The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. The middle school office staff got to recognize el Dia de los Muertos today with first grade students and multi-lingual staff, who brought art projects and pastries to share!


Parents, if your son or daughter signed up to play soccer, mark your calendar for the tryout dates and parent meeting! We will send location information as soon as we have it. Go, Bronchos!


Elementary and middle school students marked the beginning of Red Ribbon Week today by wearing red for "Roll Out the Red Carpet" during "Shine Like the Stars" week. Students received red ribbons and prizes were awarded through a drawing. Tomorrow's theme day is "Shine Like a Star" day and students are encouraged to wear neon, metallic or glow in the dark for awareness! (photo provided by L Dickerson.)

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, smoking, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. We will be having the following theme days this week to mark the event.


Today was our final day of Broncho Games; sixth grade took part today. Congratulations to Mrs. Morris' Broncho Time class for walking away with the championship trophy!

Parents, Broncho Games are happening this week in the middle school. This is a team-bonding event that happens annually with our students. Schedules will be re-arranged slightly this week to allow for these activities. Please make note of the following lunch changes:
Tuesday: 8th grade recess at 10:45/lunch at 11:05
Tuesday: 6th grade recess at 11:25/lunch at 11:45
Thursday: 7th grade recess at 10:45/lunch at 11:05
Thursday: 6th grade recess at 11:05/lunch at 11:25
